*Stocking Instructions

Gifts should be for kids ages K-5th grade.

1. The stocking pattern should be 17 inches long

    from top to toe, 9 inches wide from heel to

    toe, and about 7 inches wide across the top.

    *If purchasing a stocking please make sure the       size is consistent with this pattern.

2. Use RED felt (or other sturdy fabric) for GIRL

    stockings, and GREEN felt for BOY stockings.

    1 yard of 72 inch wide felt will make 8 stockings.     If you make 20 boy stockings, please try and

    make 20 girl stockings so we can keep an even

    balance.

3. Sew pieces together on the outside using either

    a zig-zag or straight stitch.

4. Fill the stockings to the top with new items only!

    Whatever you feel comfortable giving your own

    child is a good rule of thumb.  Please no sharp

    objects or anything very fragile. 

5. Staple the top of the stocking to close.  Please

    DO NOT decorate your stockings.

6. Drop off stockings at the Baptist Concern Center     by Thursday, December 16th.  If shipping,             please have stockings arrive by Monday,        December 13th and ship to:
